Reprap Mendel Teilesätze jetzt kaufbar!

Einige CNC-gefräste Teile für den Reprap Mendel

Wir sind große Fans des kosmopolitischen Grundverständnisses hinter dem Reprap-Projekt. Aktuell gibts im deutschsprachigen Raum aber noch das Henne-Ei-Problem fehlender Geräte, die ihre eigenen Teile drucken können. Bisher ist dies regional die größte Hürde. Damit die Maschinen sich auch hier schneller verbreiten können, haben wir uns entschlossen, neben dem Aufbau eines eigenen Mendels auch weitere Teile-Kits zu produzieren, damit Interessierte so die Brücke zur Eigenproduktion schlagen können.

Wir haben dazu die Pläne des Lasercut-Mendel-Kits an unsere CNC-Fräse angepasst, und fräsen nun fleißig Teile aus (übrigens komplett mit freier Software, aber dazu später mehr). Mittelfristig wird es dazu hier einen eigenen Shop geben, bis dahin gibts die Kits bei ebay zu kaufen.

Einen weiteren großen Mangel gibt im deutschsprachigen Raum: mangelnde Dokumentation. Wir planen deshalb, an dieser Stelle Schritt für Schritt den kompletten Aufbau eines Mendels auf Basis der Lasercut-Teilesätze zu beschreiben. Den Anfang wird der Extruder machen.
